Spring Color Party!

April 22 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm PDT

Creative maven, Leanne Schmidt, returns to the Sole Circle to guide you through a fun art project to energize and uplift your heart and soul.

You know those group painting sessions where everyone has a glass of wine, socializes, and creates a painting together? Well, we’re going to have a painting/coloring party in the Sole Circle. The focus will be on creating a bright, colorful spring motif that raises your spirits and makes you smile while you’re creating it, and every time you look at it.

Imagine…uplifting your energy every single day!

Leanne will guide us through the creation process, and there’s no need to paint. You can use markers or pencil crayons, too! Leanne will  provide instruction for both options.

Important: Read this!

Before your mind decides to skip this class because it’s not about “learning about health,” ask yourself, When was the last time you did something fun and creative in a group?

Bring your awareness to your heart. Is the little girl or boy inside you jumping for joy at the prospect of creating without constraints–to color just for fun?

When you make time to be creative, it has tremendous benefits for your health. It gets your qi flowing, it energizes you, and it helps you feel calmer. By the say, I’d have to say it’s also really helpful for productivity. The ideas, aha moments, and energy you feel will more than make up for your time investment.

Be kind to yourself. Make time for yourself. Make time for joy and pleasure.

No prior experience is required, and you don’t even need brushes or paint as there’s a pencil crayon option too. Enjoy!

Here are the supplies needed for the event:

1) Print Out the Design Template (optional)

If you are not that skilled at drawing, download the template to help you place objects on your canvas or paper. You can also freehand draw the image, and Leanne will guide us through the process.

  • Acrylic paints: minimum set of primary colours (red, blue, yellow) plus black
  • Small palette or plate for blending
