Strong Legs, Strong Life: Strength and Balance for Everyday Living

June 15 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm PDT

The date and time for this workshop will be confirmed by the end of May

Your legs support you every single day. They help you walk, climb stairs, and move through life with confidence and ease. Strong legs are also the foundation of traditional Chinese martial arts and healthy aging.

In this special workshop, guest instructor Master David Wei returns to the Sole Circle to teach the horse-riding stance used in kung fu.

Please note that you do not need martial arts experience, and all fitness levels are welcome.

In Strong Legs, Strong Life, you’ll learn the horse-riding stance in an easy, approachable, and practical way so that you can build and maintain muscle for better balance, stability, and healthy aging. This simple standing practice can be adapted to different fitness levels and practiced anywhere, making it an easy fit for everyday life. No fancy equipment or gym membership required!

Discover how this simple standing practice can help you:

  • Build and maintain muscle strength
  • Improve balance and stability
  • Support healthier aging and mobility
  • Increase endurance and body awareness
  • Help you feel more grounded, steady, and connected with your body

Shifu David will guide you with step-by-step instructions so that you can work at your own pace, comfortably and safely.
